-Zayvian’s greatest shame is of his involvement with Nazi Germany, during which time he “delighted in being hailed as a member of the perfect race when in reality [he] was the truest monster of all.”
-gentle, kind and excellent with children, Zayvian is in the top of his field and often consults on cases at a global scale. His offices, both at home and at the hospital at which he works, are wallpapered with drawings from his patients

-Luken is the ultimate playmate, known to provoke wrestling unexpectedly with Zayvian and Haru, as well as being the main antagonist of Haru’s video game high scores
-throughout history, if there is an organization that is shrouded with secrets and conspiracy theories, odds are Luken was involved at some point
-Haru dubbed him “Anubis” during her mythology phase

-serving as a rather off-color Robin Hood, Mercury’s main goal is to take money from the stupidly rich and give it to the poor via anonymous contributions to charities world wide
-though his mood is usually cheerful, Mercury has been known to lose his temper. Both Pompeii and the lost city of Atlantis serve as monuments to his blackest wrath
-Haru named him “Loki”, completing her naming of her brothers as various gods of death
-Mercury created the hellhound Flame to protect Haru

-upon walking into Anna’s office, it is not unusual to hear something that at first appears to be a symphony—closer listening will reveal it to be a carefully orchestrated concert of screams, explosions and general mayhem. Anna holds that she has destroyed the world five times in her head; she’s just waiting for the rest of the planet to catch up
-Anna exudes an air of danger that any smart human would be wise to avoid, seeing as she has been known to turn anything and everything into a weapon. Unfortunately for men this includes her femininity
-despite how she appears, Anna is a deeply tortured and troubled soul. Many of her greatest inventions she will take to the grave with her after witnessing the horror of the atomic bomb, in which she had a great deal of influence
-all of Haru’s weapons are designed and created by Anna, who regards them as her children and is the main source of Haru’s fear of damaging them

-a mute since birth, Ruben speaks through telepathy, his mental “voice” comforting and soothing. This, coupled with his strict code of ethics, earned him the nickname “Priest” by a young Haru
-Ruben’s talents run strongly in the telekinetic strain; for him, the laws of physics are more suggestions than actual binding truths
-more than a dozen crosses are tattooed on Ruben’s body, forever scarring and healing and leaving him in perpetual pain. They are the remains of a love affair with a man named Elijah who, upon discovering what Ruben was, grew infuriated when the vampire could not share his eternal life
